About Ken
Ken Katter is a United States Marine Corps veteran who served as a police officer during his break in service. Ken loved his job as a police officer but felt moved to join the military again post 9/11. Ken joined the Army and in 2007, he was wounded by an improvised explosive device while in Iraq and retired from the military in 2010.
In 2020, while seeking continued treatment for his injuries, Ken took up painting in Colorado when another veteran encouraged him to try it. Ken’s paintings reflect his unique experiences and provide an intimate look into the psyche of a veteran.
